Write it!

Then the Lord replied: “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. (Habakkuk 2:2)

This week isn’t about making the vision plain so that he who sees can run with it, it is about writing those tiny details that the Lord gives us especially in moments we are tired or sleepy or feel lazy to write. Such moments are so precious, they are probably moments God wants to download answers to questions we’ve been seeking answers to or moments when He wants to download solutions that will change the face of a particular sector.

Have there been times you received a word in between sleep and you told  yourself when I wake up, I will write it and when you woke up, you didn’t remember jack. I have been there a number of times, however I’m beginning to understand the importance of being prompt and not being lazy because it could slip. It might be a code that you’d need for a knotty problem or situation.

When moments like this comes, we must be prompt and never procrastinate or give in to the laziness and tiredness we feel in our bodies.

We must give ourselves to making journals of what the Father says to us. Our brain can’t take in all the information which is why it is important to write. You can go over it and remind God of his word and His goodness.

Never trivialize what the Father says to you even it is something He has said to you before. Don’t become too familiar with God! There is a point you can get to as a believer that you don’t become privy to certain information from God because He has seen that you have not been faithful with the ones He has given you, you have esteemed it lightly.

He said, ‘Good servant! Great work! Because you’ve been trustworthy in this small job, I’m making you governor of ten towns. Luke 19:17

Write the dreams, the visions, the encounters, the prophecies, His goodness. Stay faithful in writing whatever the Lord tells you and also constantly behold it.

It is easy to forget these things but once it is written, you can go over it again and again, you can put the Lord in remembrance concerning it.

The Lord will help us all.

You can not enjoy fellowship with Jesus if you don’t know Him and you can’t fulfill your destiny if you do not know HIM. We welcome you to turn unto Jesus because He alone saves, He died for your sins to make you whole and complete Him. Accept Him today.

Man in the Cave

I once read of the story of a man who was running from his supposed opposition, he ran to the extent that he lived in a cave. While in the cave, people who were in trouble, in debt, discontented and lots came to meet him and he became their leader. They were not just few persons but 400 in number yet they could trust a man who was running for his own life.

Do people go to seek help from people who obviously have their own issues, I mean glaring issues?… Why do you think these 400 men all went to meet him with their own issues? Was it because they did not know that he didn’t have a place to stay? That he was running from a supposed opposition? Shouldn’t they have been more afraid to be with a man who could be killed at anytime? Was it that those who were in the debt didn’t know that He himself was blessed? 1 Samuel 22:1-2

This man was David and sometimes I wonder how someone with such “huge” issues will go all out for people, will love recklessly, will wait to listen to what God will have him do per time and will have much compassion on people.

The 400 men who he was leading knew all of his life history but they took note of something greater which was SUBSTANCE. Men are not attracted to you because of your material possessions but because of what you carry on the inside, if they are attracted to your material possessions, it’s only a matter of time you won’t see them because such doesn’t last. What is eternal is all that makes sense.

We have been called to bring order to situations and lives that are in disarray, we must carry this mindset wherever we find ourselves. Let it be that whenever we get to a place, or we walk into people’s life, let it be that our relationship with them births an encounter with Jesus, turns their lives around 360 degrees. If it wasn’t working before let it begin working well and right. I believe that David’s mighty men came from this 400, just imagine the exploits they made just by walking into his life. 2 Samuel 23:8-39

That’s why scripture says of God’s children, whatsoever we lay our hands on prospers that’s whatever our touches our hands or our hands touch thrives in the courts of our God. Psalms 1:1-3, Psalms 92:10

Child of God you carry substance, men do not just meet you and remain the same, there must just be a shift in their lives. You are a blessing unto the nations of the earth, walk in this reality. Wherever you find yourself, you bloom and bless lives, it doesn’t matter if its an obscure place.

Walk in this reality! Live this reality!

You are blessed!

AWESTRUCK

The Bible speaks about the four living creatures, the four and twenty elders, it tells of how awestruck they are each time they behold God, they are like “HOLY HOLY HOLY is the Lord Almighty”, “You are Worthy our Lord and GOD…”and they do this like always. (Revelations 4:7-11). This week is not about the four living creatures and the elders, its about you and I.

Cast your mind to your early days as a believer, think of how your heart yearned for Him, how you drank from the well of the supernatural, how you just wanted to talk to people about Him everytime and everywhere. Have you done that? Now if you have, I want you to ask yourself now based on your walk with God now, is it still the burning and wonder filled heart? Have you gotten so used to God? Do you see like a child? Are you constantly trivialising the dealings of God in your life? Are you constantly in the web of ingratitude as you do not see the things He brings you through as anything since its “nothing compared” to what you have been seeking Him for?

When we get to a point in our walk with God where we don’t behold with wonder then there is a problem and it’s either we are beginning to grow cold or lukewarm or ingratitude is setting in.

Rick Pino shared something I will like to quote, he said “The Israelites didn’t perish for lack of wonders but rather their lack of Wonder”.

Friends I find this above statement too true, often times I have sat down wondering why the Israelites will grumble despite seeing all the amazing things God was doing and I realized if there’s no wonder in our hearts and eyes for the Lord we’ll do same. It’s a dangerous to lose awe for the Father

Their voices rose in a great chorus of protest against Moses and Aaron. “If only we had died in Egypt, or even here in the wilderness!” they complained. (Numbers 14:2).

Friends, we must never get to the point where we do not behold with wonder, we must always be a child before the Lord.

The Psalmist prayed a prayer that I will like to round up with because I find it so important a prayer for us all. Here’s the one thing I crave from God,
the one thing I seek above all else: I want the privilege of living with him every moment in his house, finding the sweet loveliness of his face, filled with awe, delighting in his glory and grace. I want to live my life so close to him that he takes pleasure in my every prayer. Psalms 27:4 (TPT)

May we never lose our Wonder friends.

The Sparrow

I was in the vehicle one day, set to go to work when I saw a bird on a flower bed and almost immediately it felt like the Holy Spirit was impressing it upon my heart to do a search and study of the Sparrow. I did the study and I was astonished at our worth in Jesus but I realized that it most times doesn’t sink into our spirits especially when we are faced with challenges and more. Let’s see scripture!

You can buy two sparrows for only a copper coin, yet not even one sparrow falls from its nest without the knowledge of your Father. Aren’t you worth much more to God than many sparrows? So don’t worry. For your Father cares deeply about even the smallest detail of your life. Matthew 10:29-31

Imagine how cheap two sparrows were, only two copper coin and the Father knows when they fall from their nests, as in God values the lives of the sparrow. Now think of how valuable you are to God or let me try explaining in a different way so we’d get the picture better.

We’d naturally not value what we spend less money or didn’t go through stress to get, imagine buying a biscuit for 5 Nigerian Naira and it gets stolen, probabilities that it would bother you is very slim.

God gives us the picture of 2 sparrows bought for a copper coin and yet is valued by Him (the Father), not one falls from its nest without His knowledge. Then He says to us that we are more valuable to Him than the sparrow.

What joy! Think of it again God values you more than a bird that was bought for less price and doesn’t fall from its nest without His knowledge. He has every knowledge about the sparrow, how much more you. God so loves you dearly.

If you’ve been struggling to see how much the FATHER values and sees you, look at the life of the sparrow and rejoice in the truth that you are valuable to Him, I mean it cost Him dying on the cross for you against all odds.

Never believe the lies of the devil! Come boldly before the throne of grace, Jesus wants you, He’s rejoicing over you with singing.

You are blessed!

Dearest Leader

Feels good to be back and we missed sharing the word of God with you, nevertheless it was expedient that we took a break.

We’d be sharing on Leadership, leadership is a big deal and being a leader is so costly. In the words of Pastor Poju Oyemade, leadership can be lonely.
Meditating on David’s sojourn with His men, we are taken back to 1 Samuel 30 where they got to Ziklag and found that their families had been carted away with all they had and there are few lessons on leadership in it that we’d love us to pay attention to;

• It’s okay as a leader to be vulnerable in the presence of the persons you lead. This was what David did, as a leader who felt their pain just as he was going through his, they wept together. 1 Samuel 30:3-4

• It’s okay as a leader to have followers that give you tough time, it only pushes you to be better. This is seen in the reaction of David’s men to him, threatening to stone him if they didn’t get their families back. This moved David from just weeping to inquiring of the Father on what to do and doing what the Father wanted. 1 Samuel 30:6-7

Dear Leader, in the face of any challenge never put seeking God for answers as secondary but as primary. Don’t go about looking for solution when you can click with solution in His presence, trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. 1 Samuel 30:7-8, Proverbs 3:5-6

• As a leader you won’t always have anything or anyone to encourage you, you must learn the art of encouraging yourself in the Lord. 1 Samuel 30:6

In your climb of success or in the midst of a challenging situation, take heed to being kind to everyone you meet, they might be the ones who have the key to what you are looking for. This is seen in David and His men taking care of an Egyptian who was sick and didn’t know that the boy had the key to what they were looking for. Discernment is Key! 1 Samuel 30:11-15

• As a leader never allow the character or the attitude of the people you are leading change your ideals. This is seen in the act of David towards the men who followed them to recover their families and those who refused to go because they were tired, he made sure everyone had the same share and were not discriminated because they didn’t participate. Do not allow the circumstances around you change who you are as a leader, be loving regardless of what anyone does and also be firm in your decisions. 1 Samuel 30:21-26

You are blessed!

THE PRICE (PART 4)

We have been sharing on THE PRICE that is to be paid in the fulfillment of the plans of God for our lives in recent weeks. One thing we have been able to establish is the truth that God’s plan for our lives doesn’t just jump on us, we pay certain price in seeing it come to pass. This week we’ll be sharing on the PRICE OF KNOWLEDGE

It was the first year of the reign of Darius the Mede, the son of Ahasuerus, who became king of the Babylonians. During the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, learned from reading the word of the Lord, as revealed to Jeremiah the prophet, that Jerusalem must lie desolate for seventy years.  So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and fasting. I also wore rough burlap and sprinkled myself with ashes. Daniel 9:1-3 (New Living Translation).

The price of knowledge is one that can not be trivialized, knowledge brings you to the point of knowing what to do. While in prayer and the study of the word, the Lord asks you to read a particular article or book on growth in a season of your life, don’t underestimate it OR you might even be in a discussion with someone and the person mentions something that might be in relation to your call or career, do well to read about it except the Spirit of the Lord places a restrain in your spirit to do it.

Daniel knew of the prophecies that had gone ahead through the mouth of the Prophet Jeremiah by reading, take a moment to pause and imagine that if he didn’t read he wouldn’t have had an idea of what to pray about or might have been praying amiss.

Attend relevant conferences, seminars, read books, build relationships that will link you to knowledge that you need per season and be sensitive when the Holy Spirit doesn’t want you to attend a particular conference or seminar or even read a particular book, it will keep you from having your feet in error. Also spend time in God’s word, it is HIGHLY IMPORTANT, there are so many secrets and solutions in it that are yet to be tapped.

You need knowledge and you must be willing to pay the price to get it.

We pray God to direct you to the needed materials for each phase of your life in Jesus name. Amen

You can not enjoy fellowship with Jesus if you don’t know Him and you can’t fulfill your destiny if you do not know HIM. We welcome you to turn unto Jesus because He alone saves, He died for your sins to make you whole and complete Him. Accept Him today.

THE PRICE (PART 3)

THE PRICE OF CONSECRATION

This particular price is one that can be trivialized under the cover of I am saved and whatever I do doesn’t matter or its my heart that the Lord is after while its true that its your heart that the Father is after, you must not neglect the place of consecration.

If we are to fulfill God’s plans and purposes for our lives, we must bear in my mind that we can’t just do anything even the things that are “ morally acceptable”. Why because we have been called to be consecrated unto Him, for His service. Let’s look at scripture so it doesn’t feel as though we are speaking vague things

But the angel said to him: “Do not be afraid,Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to call him John. 14 He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth, 15 for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He is never to take wine or other fermented drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even before he is born16 He will bring back many of the people of Israel to the Lord their God. 17 And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the parents to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous—to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” Luke 1:13-17

Kindly take note of the highlighted verses in this John the Baptist had been called before He was even in Elizabeth’s womb and GOD had already given instructions on what He should and should not do.

But you are God’s chosen treasure, priests who are kings, a spiritual “nation” set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light, and now he claims you as his very own. He did this so that you would broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world. 1 Peter 2:9 (TPT). Now if God has taken ownership of you and has paid the price for us to live in His care for life, will it be right for us to live like as though we were in our former estate. Definitely No!

The call of God upon our lives is not a call to live anyhow or to do things anyhow, it is a call to be consecrated unto him. For example if as a person who is aware of God’s call upon your life you still post nude pictures on your whatsapp status or general social media handles, then you’ve not understood what God has placed in your hands.

Also, many atimes its not as though what God has asked us not to do is wrong but for his call upon our lives, it requires us abstaining from such. Paul says something in the book of 1 Corinthians 10:23 You say, “Under grace there are no rules and we’re free to do anything we please.” Not exactly. Because not everything promotes growth in others. Your slogan, “We’re allowed to do anything we choose,” may be true but not everything causes the spiritual advancement of others. So if everyone is allowed to just do anything in the kingdom,we’d have a lot of persons stumbling. We have not been called to live anyhow or do things anyhow but to live for His glory, to live on His terms.

Consecration isn’t stale and it is a price we as believers who are called of Him have to pay in seeing that God’s kingdom is established in the hearts of men and in the nations.

Take note that if Jesus was in our time and age, he sure would live differently, a consecrated life unto the Father.

Live on the Father’s terms and not your own terms, that is true consecration.

MAY THE LORD HELP US LIVE A LIFE OF CONSECRATION IN JESUS NAME

You can not enjoy fellowship with Jesus if you don’t know Him and you can’t fulfill your destiny if you do not know HIM. We welcome you to turn unto Jesus because He alone saves, He died for your sins to make you whole and complete Him. Accept Him today.

THE PRICE (PART 2)

Last week we shared on the truth that God has good plans for us but we have a price to pay to see it come to utmost fulfillment, one of which we said is the PRICE OF BEING ALONE WITH GOD IN COMMUNION

This week we’d be sharing on the  PRICE OF PAIN. Few years ago I was privileged to read a quote by Pastor Poju Oyemade stating that we can not grow in God without wounds. I find it very true looking at the life of Jacob, the pain of having to part with his loved ones just to be alone with the Father, the pain of his hip being removed out of his joint while wrestling with the angel of the Lord.

When the man saw that he did not prevail against Jacob, he touched his hip socket, and Jacob’s hip was put out of joint as he wrestled with him. Genesis 32:25 (ESV)

I think of this and I imagine the pain we go through as believers on the journey of following the Father’s heart. We sometimes will walk through the pain of rejection, the pain of losing someone dear to us, the pain of losing something we had once held on to and was becoming a god in our lives, the pain of just staying and looking unto the Father despite the season we are in, the pain of waiting when it feels like every other person is on the ‘move’. All this is so that the Father will be glorified in and through us

When we keep on with the Father regardless of the pain, we find that a portal is opened unto us to comfort others wherein we have been comforted. (2 Corinthians 1:4). We also find out that there is a rise in our hunger and thirst for the Lord because we have chosen to rise above pain.

Pain has never been an easy thing but we might not value the level God is taking us to if we do not walk through such seasons, we might have a sense of entitlement and pride in ourselves, thinking its our power or our strength that has brought us to such place.

You might be at a point in your life where the Lord is giving you an instruction to let go of something or someone but you feel its so hard to do, remember that Jacob went through worse and was giving the Trophy of the blessing that spanned through his generation, remember Jesus too in the garden of Gethsemane sweating blood, weeping and wishing the cup could pass through him but still went ahead to conquer death.

Bulk of the seasons of pain we walk through is not for us but for nations who will walk through that same issue and will look up to us for the wisdom we learnt in the season. What you are holding onto is nothing compared to the glory that lies ahead,

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. Romans 8:18 (NIV)

Be encouraged!

We pray for you that the needed strength to walk through this season of your life is granted onto you in Jesus name. Amen

You can not enjoy fellowship with Jesus if you don’t know Him and you can’t fulfill your destiny if you do not know HIM. We welcome you to turn unto Jesus because He alone saves, He died for your sins to make you whole and complete Him. Accept Him today.

The Price (Part 1)

Every child of God has a prophetic destiny, something that has been written about each and everyone of us in the volume of the books. Some know theirs to a certain degree, some do not even know at all, some are in the process of knowing and searching the mind of the Spirit, either ways we all have a prophetic destiny.

We must understand this early enough to walk in it, its not enough for us to fall under the anointing also, receive prophetic word, hear the sound of the Spirit but we must decode what the Spirit of God is saying to us and must do the work that comes with it.

It is exciting to know that the plans that God has a plan for us all and it is good. Jeremiah 29:11 but what happens after knowing the exciting plans of God for our lives is most important. Many of us feel it just jumps on us, no there is always a process to it and there is always a price to pay and even though its costly its always worth it.

There are certain price that we are going to pay to see the fulfilment of God’s plan for our lives. We would be looking at one of it this week;

THE PRICE OF BEING ALONE. Genesis 32:22  During the night Jacob got up and took his two wives, his two servant wives, and his eleven sons and crossed the Jabbok River with them.23 After taking them to the other side, he sent over all his possessions. 24 This left Jacob all alone in the camp, and a man came and wrestled with him until the dawn began to break. We must not confuse isolation with being alone, God’s word tells us about Jacob who took his family and his possession to the other side, worthy of note is the fact that he was going to be seeing his brother for the first time in many years after cheating him. You know at this point, it meant Jacob was a dead man after all he had done, he knew no one would understand, all he knew was that there was a God his father Isaac called on and His grandfather Abraham called upon.

Jacob stayed alone to have KOINONIA with the Father, it feels like he knew that that very day was a strategic point in his destiny and there are certain words that have gone ahead of him that he must be strategically aligned to. He wrestled with the angel of the Lord, he was pressing into communion with the Father, penetrating to see what had been written concerning him, searching for how to align with it and when he caught it he refused to let go. Why? because there are things you taste in God’s presence that give you a distaste for where you are coming from.

The price of staying alone with God, away from the distractions is a price that every child of God must pay. We must not love being in the face of everybody than being in the face of the Father. The Father yearns for alone moments with YOU and I, a HEART that truly pants for HIM, that wants to truly birth the purposes of God on the face of earth because we are in love with Him.

It has never been easy staying alone with the Father, it is first a DISCIPLINE before it becomes a DELIGHT.

Child of God, love up on the Father, commune with HIM, stay alone in HIS presence. It is a price you must pay to forever remain relevant in your generation.

You can not enjoy fellowship with Jesus if you don’t know Him and you can’t fulfill your destiny if you do not know HIM. We welcome you to turn unto Jesus because He alone saves, He died for your sins to make you whole and complete Him. Accept Him today.

Kindly send us an email on jesusexpressed@gmail.com so we can agree in prayer with you.

Jesus LOVES you.

Have a blessed week ahead!

MORE THAN ENOUGH

Some years ago, someone dear to me was really ill and during the time the person in question was ill, it was a lonely moment. She would be alone when everyone had gone out, would pray, do everything she found strength to do and that was really the routine.
During this season of her life, I had the privilege of visiting and one of those days I saw the routines she had to engage in everyday alone and I thought to myself, in such a season as this and even beyond, the only person that can satisfy is Jesus because I felt it was painful being restricted to a spot.

O God, You are my God, earnestly will I seek You; my inner self thirsts for You, my flesh longs and is faint for You, in a dry and weary land where no water is. Psalms 63:1 (Amplified Version).

This above Psalm is coming from someone who went through alot, from being alone with his father’s sheep while others had their own feel of “freedom” to running from Saul for fear of his life to his own son Absalom wanting to take over the throne. These transitions in David’s life clearly shows that he understood what it meant to long for others, for togetherness, for companionship and not get it yet these seasons of his life drew him deeper into intimacy with the Father such that he could say his longing was still for God in a dry and weary land, that is to say he had come to a point in his life where he clinged to one truth, ‘GOD IS MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR ME”
Sometimes nobody will understand, people won’t be there always but we must build a relationship with Jesus where even when everything shakes we will cling to the truth that Jesus is more than enough for us.

Because you are close to me and always available, my confidence will never be shaken, for I experience your wrap-around presence every moment. Psalms 16:8 (The Passion Translation).

It’s the relationship we have built with God that will sustain us and keep us from being shaken. We experience the glorious presence of Jesus in seasons when it feels like we have been deserted or those who are dear to our hearts are busy trying to make ends meet. People will not always be there but Jesus who is more than enough will always be with us.
Life will deal us a heavy blow but this truth must stand in our hearts, Jesus is more than enough.

He alone must be the One we long for, the One we cling to, the One we want.

So as you walk through your days on earth, remind and speak to yourself constantly that He (Jesus) is more than enough for you.
Only Jesus can fill that longing.

May our longing be for Jesus alone. Amen!

Have a bright week ahead!

SHALOM!
